Black Friday is huge for holiday sales, but Cyber Monday won last year in terms of traffic and conversion for the holidays. Cyber Monday was both the busiest traffic and highest converting day in all of 2013, with 5X higher traffic and 8X higher conversions than average. When 500 consumers were surveyed regarding their plans to spend this 2014 holiday season,
About 20% of consumers said they would be spending more around Black Friday
63% would spend about the same,
6% would spend less,
and 11% indicated they were unsure of how they’d spend this year.
